The new model has 350 horsepower, and more than 368 pound-feet of torque. This Polestar S60 reaches a top speed of 155, so it has power and speed. In addition, the Polestar that the Aussies are seeing has upgraded braking systems and upgraded suspensions.
But that's not all. Word on the street is that Volvo will be testing more new high performance models in Australia. Volvo has said that they want these new models to be competitors of both BMW and Mercedes.
One of the new rumored models was to be is an upgrade of the V40 hatchback, but the project was scrapped, for now, in favor of the S60. It is possible, though, that Volvo will pick up where they left off and upgrade the popular hatchback.
