A recent survey from Car Safety Rules shows that consumers expect Apple or Google to be the next innovators in driver safety. But we at Turner Volvo of Sacramento couldn't help but notice who ranks just behind them, in third place.
Of course, it's Volvo! We are honored to have ranked highly with the most revolutionary technological innovators of this century. Others on the list included Mercedes, ranking fifth, and "no one," ranking in fourth place. This means that, after Volvo, people would sooner say that "no one" is qualified to innovate in driver safety than any other brand.
It is quite the compliment, but not without merit. Volvo strives to innovate urban driver safety, with technologies ranging from pedestrian detection technology to a new engine that aims to help drivers merge safely into swift traffic.
If Apple or Google decide to go into the automotive industry, we may have a tough competitor. But since the "iSedan" and Google Maps vehicle will not be available for purchase anytime soon, you can trust us to deliver quality Volvo service.
