Help us spread the word!

The Turner Volvo Lemon Ride is getting closer, and we need your help to spread the word. If you are riding in the ride, we want to say a big thank you - you're helping us raise important funding for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization for pediatric cancer research. And if you can't make it, we'd love it if you'd share the event with a friend or two!

The Turner Volvo Lemon Ride is open to all ages and skill levels and will take place on the scenic American River Trail near William B. Pond park. All riders will get some great gear from Volvo, and the top three fundraisers will get awesome Lemon Ride t-shirts. We'll also be holding a raffle for riders and spectators alike, so you can enter to win other great prizes and more t-shirts!

Kids are welcome at the Turner Volvo Lemon Ride

On October 14th Turner Volvo will be hosting the Lemon Ride, a charity bike ride to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. ALSF raises money for pediatric cancer research and was founded based on the actions of one four-year-old girl, Alexandra Scott.

The Lemon Ride is an easy, fun ride - not a speedy race - so it is perfect for kids. The shortest route is 10 miles, but families with children are encouraged to participate and ride for as far as they are comfortable. We'll also have some great kid-friendly activities and healthy refreshments, so bring the whole family!

All riders will get some great gear from Volvo, and the top three fundraisers will get awesome Lemon Ride t-shirts. We'll also be holding a raffle for riders and spectators alike, so you can enter to win other great prizes and more t-shirts!

Join the Turner Volvo Lemon Ride!

It's official: Turner Volvo is hosting a bike ride for charity on October 14th! This ride will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a charity that Volvo helped to found after being inspired by 4-year-old Alexandra Scott's own lemonade stand to raise money for cancer research. In keeping with Turner Volvo's commitment to community involvement (and our love of bikes!) we chose to add our own personal support to Volvo and ALSF's cause.

The ride will have two distance options, a 10 mile and a 24 mile route from William B. Pond Park toward Lake Natoma along the American River Trail. Riders will collect pledges, starting with a kick-off pledge of $1000 from Turner Volvo - and the top three fundraisers will win fantastic Lemon Spin t-shirts! There are prizes for every rider, though, so come by and get some swag while helping out a good cause.

Click here to register! Updates will be available here on the blog and on our Facebook page. Tell your friends and bring them along for the ride!
